The quantum Rube Goldberg solution

  1. Select a random instruction.
  2. Prepare a canonical state of the device.
  3. Apply the randomly chosen instruction from Step 1.
  4. Measure the system.
  5. Repeat 1–4 until r repeated outcomes are seen.
  6. Estimate the quantum dimension to be roughly k²/(2r), where k was the number of experiments needed.

Quantum level accuracy

Is there a point to all this?
